Depending on your weapon, there may be a large amount of paraphernalia to choose from to adapt it, or improve its precision, weight and speed. If choosing a holster for your handgun, the preference of materials and locking system can have a big influence on your tangible shooting performance. While selecting a holster for your weapon, you choice of holster will actually have a significant impact on your overall shooting performance. Advanced holsters such as these are often made from space-aged materials such as carbon fiber and composite. Selection of your holster also depends heavily on your preference for both security and concealment. Most high-end holster manufacturers offer shoulder holsters, but rarely ankle or concealment models.

In addition to your selection of a high performance holster, there are thousands of other customizations that you can function on your weapon. Depending on your wishes and desires, you can modify your weapon with minor changes such as upgrading the handle to achieve a distinctive look. If you are more interested in performance, you may well also improve almost any part of the pistol; from lengthening the barrel to completely modifying the firing mechanism. In addition, optics, scopes and laser sights can be added to improve your firing accuracy.

Regardless of your level of interest in your firearm, there is an indefinite choice of gear from which to upgrade, modify, or change your weapon. The modifications and accessories that you choose are basically a matter of private choice.
