If You Would like An Effective Self Defense Tool, Use Steel Telescoping Batons

By Jymes B Stratford

I work as a night watch in a gated community. Things have been pretty calm so far but I know that anything can happen at any time. I should always be prepared for everything, especially if anyone tries to break in and enter the area. I hear about so many crime stories, which is why I never take my job lightly.

My job as a guard dictates that I need something for protection in case I get attacked. For this, I figured that the best place to look would be on the Internet. As I searched, I made a decision to use steel telescoping batons for self defense. I browsed through my choices to pick the best one.

The product that I first encountered was a 16 inch Rubber Handle Steel Baton. All I had to do was flick my wrist and the baton will extend up to 16 inches long. These extendable batons are so convenient to use so I won't have any problem protecting myself. There is no doubt that with just one strike, the guy will get as far from me as possible.

I wanted to ensure that I would get a good device if I was going to use steel telescoping batons for self defense. After the 16 inch, there was a 21 inch Rubber Handle Steel Baton. The only difference is that the latter is superior in length, being 21 inches long.

From all the steel batons that I saw, I liked a 26 inch Rubber Handle Steel Baton best. This product has the most extended length at 26 inches, which I thought was ideal for me.

It is a good call to use steel telescoping batons for self defense as these are effective. Plus, all these expandable batons are equipped with a foam or rubber handle for an easy grip. In addition, each comes with a heavy-duty nylon holster so it can be carried conveniently.

Since I work at night, other than browsing through the steel batons, I also opted to get an LED Light for Steel Baton. This will help me see better at night and I can attach it conveniently to my baton. It is an ultra-bright LED with 6,000 hours of illumination that comes in a high-density aluminum body and with a high-impact, resistant lens. Plus, it went with a CR-123A battery when I bought it.

I am really thrilled with my choice to use steel telescoping batons for self defense. I can now defend myself against any intruders that try to break into anyone's homes. If an attack occurs, at least, I can say that I am prepared.
