Don't Bother Utilizing Expensive Closely Commercialized Safety Systems When Using The Video Security Camera Systems

By Willm L Yotabba

I work as a security consultant and that requires me to be knowledgeable on the most current surveillance systems. One client I have was actually an old employer. I was his bodyguard for a while. He called me up and asked if I could equip his daughter's new apartment with a few cameras.

It was an honor to have his full faith in my abilities and his trust in my decisions. We had known each other for a few years before I resigned and joined my current agency. I thought to start off with giving him a selection of video security camera systems to pick from so that I could get a feeling of what he wants.

From among the products that I showed him, I endorsed the 4 channel wired DVR system the most. It was the product of choice for some past clients and I have heard great reviews on it. Also, since it was easy to set up and use, I considered it just right for my client's needs. It is also economical and great for those on a budget.

Its embedded DVR sets it apart from other video security camera systems. With it, a live stream can be accessed online into a monitor in a different location. There is also the choice of getting different cameras if the customer wants that.

I explained to my ex-boss that this 4 channel wired DVR system would be a great way to go. Four cameras make an adequate number to cover the whole space without blind spots. If we were to add another one, it would just be repetitive and a waste of money. Getting only three would ensure vulnerable spots where criminals could hide. He agreed and even stopped searching through other video security camera systems.

When he bought the system, I volunteered to help set it up and explain its functions to him. We were done in half the time that other video security camera systems would need to be installed. The cameras, cables, mouse, remote and monitor were arranged in almost no time at all.

The cameras that came with the 4 channel wired DVR system were day/night color wired bullet cameras, which were just right for the apartment. We also had no problems hiding the 100-foot video cables out of sight.

We placed the 17-inch LCD monitor with the girl's bodyguard. I was glad that my former boss was satisfied with the product that I suggested. It was a great feeling knowing that I could still keep his family safe after all these years.
